Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have your own installers?
Our primary focus is designing and supplying kitchen cabinetry, countertops, tiles, and hardware for your new kitchen in your new construction or remodeling project. For additional remodeling needs like demolition, plumbing, and electrical work, we collaborate with skilled local contractors whom we can recommend for your project.
How long does it take to receive my cabinetry once it’s been ordered?
Typically, our cabinetry orders take between 3 to 6 weeks for standard designs and can extend to 8 to 12 weeks for more customized options. We also offer quick ship options for faster delivery.
How much do I need to budget?
Budgeting for a kitchen remodel can vary widely depending on several factors such as the size of your kitchen, the quality of materials you choose, and whether you plan to do any of the work yourself or hire professionals. However, as a rough guideline:
Minor Remodel: If you’re making minor changes using RTA or stock cabinetry, updating appliances, and installing new countertops, you might budget anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000.
Mid-range Remodel: For a more comprehensive remodel including new semi-custom cabinetry, countertops, appliances, and possibly some structural changes (like knocking down a wall), you might budget between $20,000 to $50,000.
High-end Remodel: If you’re looking at luxury materials, high-end appliances, custom cabinetry, and potentially expanding the kitchen space, your budget could range from $50,000 to $100,000 or more.
It’s important to factor in additional costs such as labor, permits, design fees, and any unexpected expenses that may come up.
What information should I gather before our appointment?
When planning for a new kitchen, it’s ideal to decide on possible appliance replacements before our initial meeting. This ensures that we can integrate them seamlessly into your new kitchen design. Sometimes, desired appliances may not fit within budget constraints or space limitations. You are not required to purchase these items beforehand. If you’re unsure about your appliance choices, don’t worry—we can assist you in selecting ones that best suit your new kitchen.
For those building a new home, please provide a copy of the proposed floor plan. While flooring will be a topic of discussion, it does not need to be selected prior to our meeting.
What can I expect during our appointment?
During the initial appointment, we focus on gathering information about your lifestyle, personality, and goals for your new kitchen. This helps us understand your vision, especially when combined with details about your appliances. Typically, this appointment lasts 1 hour. Afterwards, we use the gathered information to create drawings of your kitchen, including elevations and various views. This visualization process can take anywhere from 2 to 7 days for standard designs or 10 to 14 days for larger and more complex projects.
